SICAR BRAVISSIMA 350 : remise en état mais pas que ...

Bon en french d’abord :
Le guide de refente (qui sert aussi de règle de dégau) n'est pas en cause. C'est sa fixation sur la barre de réglage qui est trop souple.
De fait, SICAR avait paré au truc en utilisant un point d'appui.

Il reliait la table d'entrée de la dégau à l'extrémité de la règle par une petite tige métallique ce qui rigidifiait le montage.
Personnellement, je n'ai pas cette tige. Mais je ne vois pas l’intérêt de sortir la règle aussi loin de la lame pour déligner.
Sur la machine de Bruno, nous avons résolu le problème en changeant le système de fixation de la règle (noix et guide du fait de la motorisation).

The rip fence (which also serves for the planer) is not involved. It's its attachment to the adjustment bar that is too flexible.
In fact, SICAR had dealt with the trick by using a fulcrum. It connected the jointer's input table to the fence with a small metal rod which stiffened the assembly.
Personally, I don't have this stick. But I don't see the benefit of pulling the fence so far out of the blade to edge.
We solved the problem on Bruno's machine by changing the fence fixing system (nut and bar due to the motorization).

Thank you! I knew there had to be something missing and it should not be moving as it is. Yes, you are right, there is no need for the rip fence to be extended beyond the blade in case the saw is used. However you are correct, this fence is shared with the jointer and the end of the fence in this case is the front of the fence and while it does keep square, still is not advantageous if it is moving In this case the rod is no solution as it would block the path of my board. Am I getting something all wrong?

The rod should be use only with the saw, not with the planer !
When using the planer, the flexibility isn't a problem, the fence stay square with the table.
